A Santa tracker: around the world or on the way to you?
Your child finds Santa on the far side of the world and asks when he’ll reach your house. Before choosing a map, decide what you’d like to follow: his trip around the globe or his arrival at your tree.
Start with when your children find their presents
A global map is a way to explore faraway places and guess where Santa will fly next. For a family journey, the important detail is closer to home: the last message should arrive when it suits your day, whether that’s after dinner or the next morning.
In Christmas Journey, choose Santa, a destination and a gift time, then edit the messages. One might say goodnight; another can greet the children in the morning. Before sharing the map, rehearse the ending, including the parent confirmation that the presents are ready.
- Decide whether presents are opened in the evening or the next morning.
- Choose a few moments to check together. The map does not need to stay on all day.
- Before the finale, agree which adult will stay with the children and which will prepare the surprise.
